Software options can be manually deinstalled on a ZVA analyzer in order to be transferred to another instrument. Proceed as follows:
Contact your Rohde & Schwarz representative in order to obtain a deinstallation code.
Enter the deinstallation code in the Option Key Entry tab of the System Config menu and press Install.
The analyzer displays a notice box with a response code.
Note the response code and send it to your Rohde & Schwarz representative in order to obtain a new option key. You can repeat step 2 and retrieve the response code again, should you inadvertently close the notice box.
With the new option key, install the software option on another ZVA network analyzer.
